Getting together with family warms the heart and reminds us of what is really important. As our families grow, does our capacity for life and love. And if you are fortunate enough to have a big family the joy of gathering together far outshines the work involved in pulling it all together.
This is the second season since the loss of our mother. For her love of the holiday I am creating this site in order to share a little of our holiday spirit with all of you, my readers and followers, family , friends, and friends I haven't even met yet.

Holiday time is almost here again and as the weather cools my thoughts go to the planning of a family get together and planning for those all important family feasts.
Decorations are stacked in bins, their year long wait for attention is almost over and as I contemplate yet another holiday season my heart is lightened at the thought of surrounding myself with family and friends on a cool wintry night.
